Acceptance letters will be delivered following faculty evaluations.

On this date in 2001, four airliners were hijacked in the United States and intentionally crashed. Two of the planes hit New York City's World Trade Center twin towers, which collapsed shortly afterward. Another plane hit the Pentagon building in Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania after the passengers fought back against the hijackers.

On this date in 1953, the Swanson Company began selling its first "TV Dinner". The first pre-packaged frozen dinner was a Thanksgiving meal of turkey, frozen peas, and sweet potatoes. The name, TV Dinner, came from the shape of the tray the meal was heated and served on...similar in appearance to the front of a 1950's television set. The original TV Dinner sold for 98 cents.

Tomorrow will be Middle School Back-to-School night. Tomorrow night will begin at 6:00 with an assembly in the Worship Center.

Tomorrow we will be on chapel schedule, with grade level homecoming meetings in the auditorium. Middle school will meet at 8:50, followed by the high school at 9:45.

High School PowderPuff signup sheets will be posted on the C-wing bulletin board following the high school assembly.

Middle school softball tryouts for grades 6 - 8 will be right after school Wednesday afternoon. Tryouts will be from 3:30 - 4:45 at the high school softball field.

NJHS and NHS will meet this Thursday during lunches. NJHS 8th graders will meet at 10:45 in the Next Gen Room. NJHS ninth graders will meet in the Worship Center at 11:50.

NHS 10th, 11th, and 12th graders will meet at 11:50 in the Next Gen Room.

Any middle and high school students interested in running cross country can sign up in the office. There will be an information & parent meeting this Thursday at 6 pm in the cafeteria.

There will be a middle school and high school baseball parents meeting Thursday evening at 6:00 in the Worship Center.
