It’s LSU Day at Calvary – Wear your Purple and Gold! Geaux Tigers!

Please join us in congratulating some diligent and hard-working Calvary seniors for their amazing academic accomplishments. These nine student-athletes were named to the ACADEMIC all-state teams in their respective fall sports. To be eligible for this prestigious honor, students must be a senior, must have competed in the sport for two consecutive years, and must have maintained the required GPA for the last three years.

Students with a * by their name were named to the composite all-state teams in their respective sport. The composite all-state team is made up of seniors combined from all classes (1A-5A) across the state who have maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA in the last six semesters.

We are proud of all nine of these cavaliers and we are excited to have the highest number of student-athletes named to fall sports academic all-state teams of schools in Caddo/Bossier/Desoto parishes. Great job, Cavs!

Middle & High School 2^nd Nine Weeks/Semester Exam Schedule

December 12-17, 2019

• No check-outs for Friday, December 13^th – Tuesday, December 17^th.
• Second semester begins on Monday, January 6, 2020.
• Every student takes semester exams in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies.  No exemptions for students in these classes.
• Electives, Enrichments, and Bible classes have flexibility on type of assessment, if any, they choose to administer as a semester exam grade.  Please email your plan to  Mr. Guerrero by 12/9/19.
• Make-up Exams require an excuse and must be arranged with the teacher.  The best time to give a make-up exam is in the afternoon on Friday or Monday. A make-up exam given after December 17^th must have prior administration approval.  Must be approved by Mr. Guerrero by Wednesday, December 11, 2019.

Cowen Studios will be taking Christmas photos on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 for Grades K-12. Please dress your child in Christmas colors or clothing for this event. Unless your child is in a group photo with siblings or friends ($2.00 per individual in a group photo), there is no need to send money, as this is a proof program. The backgrounds used, portray favorite holiday scenes. To view this year’s backgrounds, please go to our website at www.cowenstudios.com. These portraits make wonderful Christmas gifts and finished orders will be delivered to school in plenty of time for Christmas gift giving! NHS Induction Ceremony
National Honor Society Acceptance Letters were given out on Wednesday. Remember to save Monday, November 4th at 6PM in Calvary’s Sanctuary as the induction date. If your student received an acceptance letter, please invite your family and friends to attend this special ceremony.
