Christmas Pictures (Nov 6th)
Cowen Studios will be taking Christmas photos on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 for Grades K-12. Please dress your child in Christmas colors or clothing for this event. Unless your child is in a group photo with siblings or friends ($2.00 per individual in a group photo), there is no need to send money, as this is a proof program. The backgrounds used, portray favorite holiday scenes. To view this year’s backgrounds, please go to our website at www.cowenstudios.com. These portraits make wonderful Christmas gifts and finished orders will be delivered to school in plenty of time for Christmas gift giving! If you have any questions, please contact Cowen Studios at (318) 865-0247. Christmas pictures are optional; all other students are required to be in uniform.

National Honor Society Acceptance Letters were given out on Wednesday. Remember to save Monday, November 4th at 6PM in Calvary’s Sanctuary as the induction date. If your student received an acceptance letter, please invite your family and friends to attend this special ceremony.

The Parade will begin at 8:30 tomorrow. It will be moved to the Gym if rain forces us inside.

Applications for Calvary’s National Honor Society were distributed on Thursday, September 5 during Bible Class.
If your child is in grade 10 – 12 and has a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher with zero suspensions from the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school year, they signed for a packet and are able to apply.
Application does not ensure acceptance. Your child must meet the additional requirements listed in their application packet (first page), to be considered.
!!! Current NHS members do not have to reapply!!!
The due date for applications is Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019 by 3:15. Turn in application packets to Mrs. Gregory (room N108). No late applications will be accepted.
Letters of acceptance/declination will be distributed to students by Oct. 1, 2019.
Induction Ceremony will be Monday, Nov. 4, 2019
